Abstract:

Letter of December 6, 1977 concerns completion and particulars regarding publication of Allhands' autobiography, which includes a mention of Maxon in the chapter on Fort Davis. Two letters from February and October, 1978 are written by Allhands' wife Peggy, following Allhands' death on January 9, 1978. A color snapshot of Jim and Peggy in his office in Dallas in 1976 also enclosed.
